Het hotel is geweldig, de service is geweldig, en de locatie is geweldig. Het personeel was erg aardig, behulpzaam en betrouwbaar. Ik raad degenen die van de stad Rethymnon houden aan om in dit hotel te verblijven, dat zich onderscheidt door zijn locatie en mooie mensen. Ik kom volgend jaar terug om te boeken. Bedankt,🌷🥰

We booked on short notice and were lucky to get a sea view room with a great size balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Bathroom had great water pressure and good sized modern shower. Easy walk into Plakias itself where there are many shops and tavernas to visit. There’s a small pebble beach directly in front of the hotel, which had stunning sunset views. Several other beaches are a short drive away. Nice breakfast in the garden area. We were traveling with our dog, and he was welcomed too. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, good facilities and kind and attentive staff.

I stayed with my husband and daughter in Theartemis Palace for a week and we are absolutely satisfied with the hotel, Rethymno city and the whole Crete! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and fully-equipped. Breakfasts were very tasty and had wide choice, also we liked the inside pool the most, because sea was not very warm (but here in Greece in April the water was like we have in the Baltic sea in July :)). Also we liked the location of the hotel - close to the sea, not far from the center, with lots of nice restaurants within walking distance and with calm and pleasant vibe of the neighborhood.

We chose this resort because it had a wonderful sandy beach area for swimming and an included water park for the kids. Because the water park is private to the resort, the lines were very short even during our peak season visit, so each day my kids had their fill within 1.5 hours, which allowed us to enjoy the beach and pools. Since the location is very remote, the all-inclusive package/meals made everything so easy. We found the food to have lots of variety and great quality. Our room was at the very back of the resort, next to the water park, but we still had sweeping sea views, and everything on the property was kept beautifully clean at times.

The staffs are super nice! The evening cocktails were amazing.

The all inclusive food was spectacular, especially Greek Night! The servers were very friendly and picking up dirty plates and refilling drinks promptly.

This was an oasis of a place. The most gorgeous hotel I have ever stayed in. From its history to the service to the seriously oppressive beauty of this place, it was almost too much to bear. The hotel is surrounded by nature and gorgeous greenery and so it smells incredible. I kept telling myself all my senses were overwhelmed. The rooms were quiet and the beds so comfortable. I slept so deeply and I normally have terrible insomnia... It was so hard to leave. Depressing actually. This place is like art came to live and you are living in it. Its beauty is captivating and warm. I loved the amazing hike you can do from the Arkady Monastery to the hotel. You can arrange with the hotel to be dropped off at monastery and then you hike back thru gorgeous paths and gorges. Breathtaking views and private. The staff at the hotel offered world class service and attention. They were wonderful and so easy to talk to and happy to assist with any request. The breakfast was a bounty of delicious fresh locally-sourced healthy foods. Overall, this was an unbelievable experience. This hotel should be in everyone’s bucket list. This is simply the extraordinary hotel with a pool in the calm and nice Platanes very close to Rethymno with amazing (and hardworking) dedicated staff, from the reception, restaurant to daily cleaning service. You can be sure that they will go extra mile to make you fully enjoy your deserved holiday. The hotel is well maintained and the bathrooms seem to be recently renovated. Everything is very clean. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and the view over the pool and the sea behind. The towels were changed on a daily level or when requsted and they were stocked by soaps. Complimentary water provided in the fridge on arrival. Amazing and kind reception staff is available for assistance at all times. The restaurant staff was always with smile serving delicious and varied food with lots of vegetables, that we liked. The AC usage was free and guests should check the booking conditions since this can be charged depending on the agency/booking platform through which the reservation is made.

renovated , great value for the price . breakfast was great , big variety , the pool is lovely. the rooms are specious , modern design , clean . if travelling to Bali this is the hotel to stay at

We had the best experience we have ever had on a holiday. The room was cleaned every day to perfection, the staff were all extremely nice and really made us feel cared for. It is a bit expensive for our taste but it is definetely the best 4 star hotel you can wish for.

We had a very enjoyable time at Villa Maris! Communication with our wonderful host Christina was exceptional - advice on local restaurants and places to visit always forthcoming and superb. The villa is well furnished and has a nice little swimming pool. It's a great base to explore beaches or the mountains. What made our stay extra special were the gifts on arrival, wine and raki made by Christina's father, and other food gifts throughout our stay; thoroughly enchanting!

Beautiful rooms, awesome to have the outdoor jacuzzis, we spent almost all of our time in Rethymno out on the terrace just relaxing to the sounds of the ocean. It was gorgeous and there are so many exquisite details. Breakfast was also fantastic with tons of choices for all tasted and more than enough food to cover both breakfast and lunch - we weren’t hungry again until dinner!
